Track your chosen subject with greater accuracy, even when it’s moving or passing behind obstacles, thanks to Canon's Head/Face detection technology and advanced tracking algorithm.

Smoother camera movements

Create smoother and more natural footage by controlling the camera's Pan/Tilt movement. Change tracking sensitivity to speed up or slow down the camera’s responsiveness to your inputs.

Wide tracking adjustability

Customise the camera’s tracking range, size and sensitivity and fine-tune its angle of operation to ensure you get the footage you want. Also free control of target composition where to keep in viewing angle is possible.

Adjust up to ten settings

Enjoy greater control of camera settings to track any type of subject, in any kind of scene. The Auto Tracking App RA-AT0011 offers adjustments in composition, tracking sensitivity, priority display area, fixed viewing angle area, tracking target auto select, pan/tilt halting area, initial position, auto select exclusion area, limit tracking area and pan/tilt control.

Multi setting memory support

Create up to five useful auto tracking presets to speed up your workflow and let you focus on other key tasks.

Flexible control options

Open the RA-AT001 app from a web browser to adjust all settings, or access the main control settings from the RC-IP1000 controller or Remote Camera Control App.

Auto Framing features explained

The updated full (paid) version of the Auto Tracking Application RA-AT001 introduces the following new features:

Multi-Person Framing
Frame neatly for more than one speaker with the useful feature that ensures natural composition for talk shows, interview panels or visual podcasts, for example.

Face Direction Framing
The camera provides free space in front of the speaker, based on the direction they look, improving composition.

Sit/Stand Framing
When a speaker sits down, the camera zooms in to frame more closely, and zooms out for a mid-shot when the speaker stands.
