A print services provider based in Germany, MSP specialises in consumer promotion and direct marketing. Although its offset and laser production process was fully optimised, the company was struggling to compete with lower volume cut-sheet products and digital colour inkjet offerings.
Working closely with Canon, MSP streamlined production by replacing the colour cut-sheet printers with a digital inkjet solution. Performance was also improved by replacing the previous three-step production process with a single, integrated workflow.
By cutting costs and improving productivity, MSP is once again a strong market player. Thanks to variable data printing, the company has extended its service portfolio and become one of Europe’s leading providers of credit card direct mail products.
