The RF 24mm F1.4L VCM is the ideal Canon lens for landscapes, architecture, interiors, video as well as immersive storytelling where placing the subject in context is important. A Nano USM and Voice Coil Motor deliver exceptional speed and near-silent operation while an f/1.4 aperture gives great depth-of-field control and low light prowess, useful when there’s no time to change lenses or you want to continue shooting or filming in low light. With hybrid video features such as an Iris Ring, minimal focus breathing and smooth focusing alongside SWC, ASC and Super Spectra coating for stunning image quality, this wide-angle prime lens offers one creative solution for both stills and video.

² Important: The Voice Coil Motor (VCM) in the lens emits a low-level magnetic field. While generally safe to use, we advise consulting your doctor if you have a pacemaker or any other medical device to address any concerns.
³ Although the lens features dust- and water-resistant construction, this cannot completely prevent dust or water droplets from entering the lens.
* For cameras with an APS-C sized sensor, a crop factor applies giving an equivalent focal length of 1.6x – this means that the 24mm on an APS-C camera will give the field of view equivalent to a 38.4mm lens on a Full Frame camera. Check camera user manual for further details.
