The EOS Ra is a powerful, full frame mirrorless camera for astrophotography offering all the benefits of the EOS R System such as great low light performance, wider AF coverage and access to an incredible range of EF, EF-S, and RF lenses with the additional enhancement of an infrared blocking (IR) filter for incredible images of the night sky. This filter enables the EOS Ra to allow more Hα (Hydrogen Alpha) light to reach the sensor – four times more than a conventional EOS R – making the EOS Ra well suited to capturing the reddish colours seen in diffuse nebulae. With incredible low light performance thanks to -6EV autofocus, the camera also boasts 4K video, Vari-Angle touchscreen and intuitive controls for responsive handling.
